Sonik SK-TEK One Man Bivvy

This bivvy is ok, especially for a first time buy or someone who fishes occasionally. If you fish all the time and for long periods or quick over nights i would suggest something like a solid nash T1 or something a little more strong and easy to pack down. As this bivvy takes about 5 minutes to erect and about 15 mins to pack down. And thats once you know how todo it. The zips and pegs are all really good and strong, and ive been in a serious windy rainy storm and the bivvy proved itself as being durable. The main downside is the poles used to hold the bivvy in shape. There are 3 poles, one at the back, one on top, and one on the hood above the door. These poles are plastic and the little connectors used to connect to each other are very fragile. If you drop them into the little bag to hold them make sure you lift it off the floor because if the end of the pole hits the floor it will break the connector. Also because they are simply plastic locks to keep them extended, if they are wet from rain they being to slide which causes the bivvy to sag and loose shape. It would be much better if they made these metal i think.
